Frequently asked questions
Do I have to subscribe?
No. Uploading and exploring your scans in 3D is free. Subscribe when you want KAYMO to explain them.
What happens to my scans if I don't subscribe?
Free scans are archived 30 days after you upload them. Nothing is deleted: subscribing restores every archived scan straight away. Scans uploaded before September 1, 2026 keep the 180 days they were promised.
What if my scan is an X-ray or a mammogram?
X-rays and mammograms open in a 2D viewer, free. With a subscription, press and hold any spot on a computer and ask KAYMO about it. Segmentation and 3D tours don't apply to flat images.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Choose Manage subscription in your account menu. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your scans stay available for another 30 days after that.
I bought a one-time unlock before. Does it still work?
Yes. One-time unlocks are no longer sold, but every unlock you bought keeps its full access for 12 months from the day you bought it.
Is my data safe?
Your scans are encrypted in transit and at rest, and KAYMO never sells your data. You can delete a scan at any time.
Is KAYMO covered by insurance?
KAYMO is a personal health tool and is not typically covered by insurance.
