Making medical imagesaccessible and usefulfor patients
500 million
Half a billion CT and MRI scans are performed globally each year. 130 million in the US alone.
Once
Most scans are only looked at only once. More importantly, most patients never see their own scans.
Petabytes
Massive amounts of amazing imaging data is sitting around unused in health systems.
Our mission
KAYMO is making medical imaging accessible and useful for patients. We believe that every patient should have the ability to view and understand their own medical images.
We believe the best way to make medical imaging more useful is to put it in the hands of patients. We want to enable patients to use their data in ways that would be unthinkable in a traditional healthcare setting. We believe that patients should be able to decide how to engage with their bodies and take control of their health journey. We don't want to build "another health dashboard".
We believe a digital representation of our own anatomy is the best anchor to start any health journey.

Marcus Foster
Founder & CEO
I spent most of my career building consumer technology products for companies like Google and Yahoo. After a bike crash in 2011, I had my first chest CT scan. Looking at my crushed ribs in a 3D volume rendering made me understand why I was in so much pain. It was a transformational moment. I started my first medical imaging company in 2014, built a platform to use AI analysis of lung CTs for GRAIL and managed clinical trials on the Apple Health team.
